The second Walk/Run for a Drug Free Life will be held Saturday, September 6 at LaFortune Park. Start of the race will be at 8 a.m. for runners and 8:15 a.m. for walkers. Park in the baseball field lot, just north of 61st & Yale. Watach for the signs at the parking lot entrance on the east side of Yale. Race start will be at the Southeast Shelter, near the batting cages. The Walk/Run for a Drug Free Life is being held in conjunction with National Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery Month.
