The Palmer Sand Springs Criterium, scheduled for Sunday, May 20th, is a one day cycling event designed to promote fitness and healthy lifestyles. Event proceeds benefit the drug treatment programs of Palmer, serving Tulsa for over 30 years.
For cyclists, online registration is available at www.bikereg.com/net/15526, is discounted $5.00 (normally $35) and closes midnight May 18th. Race day registration opens at 8:00am and will be open all day. Registration closes 15 minutes before each race with a $5 discount for a second race. One-day and annual USAC licenses will be on sale.
This event is free for spectators and designed with the whole family in mind. Activities for children include a kid’s race at 2:10pm and a children’s activity area from 1-4pm with face painting, a party jump and even a bike rodeo to teach bicycle safety and education!
The event will once again be held at the triangle in downtown Sand Springs, Oklahoma but this year the race coincides with Sand Spring’s 5 day-long Centennial celebrations.
